The Problem

The AI infrastructure story is usually told as a chip story.

In practice, it is also a site-readiness and workforce story.

Once operators start building or expanding AI data-center programs, they inherit a messy operational layer:

• which fiber, cooling, structured-cabling, and commissioning skills are needed when;
• which contractors and workers are cleared for which sites and work packages;
• how training pipelines connect to actual hiring demand;
• how local workforce-development commitments are tracked and reported;
• how delays in one trade spill into schedule risk for the rest of the program.

Today, much of that still lives across contractor spreadsheets, training rosters, badge systems, email threads, staffing calls, and milestone trackers.

That is fragile for a category where the capital intensity is enormous and the schedules are increasingly strategic.
