The Problem

Portugal has a childcare crisis. Despite the "Creche Feliz" program making creches free for children born after Sept 2021, only ~127,000 of 250,000 eligible children have places. Lisbon accounts for 40% of complaints about missing spots. Thousands of parents — Portuguese and expat alike — face impossible choices: quit work, rely on informal care, or pay premium private rates.

Simultaneously, Portugal is a top-3 destination for digital nomads globally. 26% of US digital nomads travel with children. Portuguese labor law gives parents the right to telework with children under 3 (extended to 8 under certain conditions). But where do these parents actually work? Home with a toddler is not "productive remote work." Traditional coworking spaces don't accommodate children.

The gap: a professional workspace where parents can work productively while their children are cared for, in the same building, by qualified staff.
